So before I can get my weight loss surgery, I have to quit smoking.  I wish I would have never started, because it’s hell trying to quit.  I’m using the gum this time, and I don’t really notice much of a difference, but I have been able to cut down a lot.  Hopefully I’ll be able to kick it this time.

I’m really hoping that this surgery will help me.  I want to be able to play with the boys without getting winded.  When you combine the quitting smoking and weight loss, it should solve that problem.  Now I just have to watch what I eat for the next six months.

I’m really tired of wondering about the answer to that question.  I can’t think of a time in my life where there wasn’t any family infighting.  I don’t understand why people can’t just learn to get over themselves, and make peace.
